Below is a list of services that I provide to the community in alignment with my research and advocacy.
Inclusion Evaluation
Are you interested in having your nonprofit, company, or office evaluated for inclusion? As a part of an Inclusion Project I have launched, I am offering free workplace inclusion evaluations starting spring 2025. To learn more about the Inclusion Project or to receive a free inclusion evaluation, email [email protected] or sign up for details here.
Guest Speaker, Workshops and Trainings
As a researcher and advocate, my goal is to extend research to the general population to inform policy and practice. Here are some topics I have spoken on in the past:
- What is inclusion and exclusion? Unpacking the loose and baggy terms for evaluation purposes
- From trauma-informed to oppression-informed: Understanding the needs and experiences of foster, adopt, and the homeless youth community from an anti-oppressive lens
- Immigrant, ethnic, religious, and legal exclusion in foster care and strategies for recruitment and retention
Program and Curriculum Development and Evaluation
For 10+ years, I have developed urban and community programs in the United States and abroad. My area of expertise is in developing evidence-based programs that integrate art-based and wellness approaches to achieve program goals. Some example programs include a multi-year mentoring program for African American youth in Pittsburgh Public Schools, study abroad to Cuba, an environmental justice program using theater of oppressed techniques, and a peace program in Jos, Nigera. Aside from developing programs and curriculums, I also specialize in program evaluation.
